This painting was a plein aire painting on location at the back lot of the Rebel's Center in Hollywood, Florida. It was a beautiful day, and several rebel center artist participated in a class taught by fellow artist, friend & Painter Mickey Ray. Lot's of fun talking shop, color theory, and other fundamentals of plein air painting. Important to note, I took liberties using artistic license to create the composition as you see it. I not only painted what was there but also painted what I was feeling. This painting will eventually be a reference for a larger painting. Hope you like it. I do.
