I know I don't have the patience to paint the same thing twice! I recintly discovered that I like to paint quick and thick! If it's not quick enough-I lose interst, if it's not think enough, I can't put my soul into it. But many art schools have their students paint the samething over and over again-the chinese and japanese artists did this to train their students. My teacher wulf had to paint 200 paintings of three lemons in 4 months-then they would let him paint other things. I don't know, I paint best when it's something I'm interested in and if it's new and exciting to me.
