The mood is very powerful in this piece! Great colors.Very good placement-the tiny space between the edge of the painting and the figure adds to the tension. Although, if you really wanted to push the despare or sorrow- next time put more space on top, then you have that low-stuck-on-the-bottom feel. If you want the feeling to be a "trapped" feeling then bearly any space on each side-this would really adds to the tension! PS Thanks for the feet and inches tip-I always mix the symbols up for those! New painting done, just gotta take a picture and it will be up on the blog!
Hi, Monte....... I'm happy to say I'm the proud owner of that picture of the brooding thinking man. He is both serious and "pop" at the same time.....very enjoyable...... Mickey
