Standing Alone , Abstract Surreal Landscape - Canvas - 24 x 36- NSF-Private Collection

Acrylic on Canvas, 24 x 36 (NFS) I previously painted a smaller version of this painting, it was an 18 x 24 on a self-constructed wood support and it sold. This is a similar larger painting on canvas, not an exact duplicate but in the same abstract impressionist style. I don't take good photo's but tried to include several angled differently and one or two close up. Another simple surreal composition that was fun to do. Gifted to a very special friend. Looking at this piece now, I see where I cuuld make a few improvements, like bring the clouds up right off the canvas at the center of the tree. Also make the tree trunk thicker and bring the foliage down more to the ground, also add some support branches throughout the body of the tree...ah paintings like stories are never really done...are they!
